Ozge Ertoptamis
Born near Istanbul, Ozge Ertoptamis grew up in this ancient cosmopolitan city of many layers. Ozge carried out her architectural studies at the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, where she looked at the notions of memory, space and time through her own methodology. After graduating she pursued her education at METU Industrial Design between 2003-2007.
In 2021, after working for 17 years in Istanbul and in New York collaborating with EAA, Ozge founded Atelier Rouje. She now lives and designs in New York / Miami / Istanbul.

Ozge Ertoptamis was one of the speakers of TedX Fall River event, organized by Frank Mruk. She asked and tried to answer questions as: What is the nature of architectural work? How does a designer interact with clients, institutions and their processes, and other collaborators, or even colleagues within the same firm?

Ozge represented her projects at EAA at WAF – World Architecture Festival four years consecutively. All of her presentations received high praises.
@The Studio - In conversation series
Ozge promoted the architectural accomplishments of the studio by arranging high level meetings with other world renowned architects such as: Yehuda Safran, during Archtober, Theoharis David of NYCx Design and Ben Derbyshire (RIBA-Royal Institute of British Architects President).
@ Perspective Forum EU 2016
In 2016, at the Perspective Forum EU, organized by the Plan Magazine at Lido Island in Venice. Ozge gave a presentation on the Museum Hotel Antakya, from the initiation of the project to the construction story,

Sancaklar Mosque, The Museum Hotel Antakya projects presented by Ozge were category winners and Gocek Holiday Village project was highly commended.

Ozge was the Lead Designer of arch I strata I antioch in Time Space Existence exhibition taking place in Palazzo Bembo as a Collateral Event of the 15th International Architecture Exhibition of la Biennale di Venezia.
@1st Istanbul Design Biennale
Ozge was the Lead Designer of the 1st Istanbul Design Biennale Exhibition, held in the Museum of Modern Art in Istanbul, 2012.

@La Biennale di Venezia Arte 2015
Ozge led the design for the internationally renowned Turkish artist Ahmet Gunestekin’s Milion Stone exhibiton at Santa Maria della Pieta for the 56th Venice Art Biennale.

Ozge was the Lead Designer and Production coordinator of the installation called “Istinbat” which was exhibited at Istanbul Modern within “Day, Light, Night”, an exhibition celebrating the 25th anniversary of TEPTA Lighting.

Designed in collaboration with LASVIT, supernova is a custom light installation in the lobby of St.Regis hotel.

Ozge was the Lead Designer of the “ Contrasts” exhibition as part of the two day event -Complements and Dichotomies- by Young Artists Initiative in Miami.
